Whenever you find yourself in a difficult situation and there seems not to be away out. There are steps to take to manifest the hands of God: It starts with “Forget not His Benefits”!
First, you need to bring to the remembrance of all the time you have experienced miracles and divine intervention in the past.
Think about times when God has shown himself powerful and faithful in your life.
1Bless the LORD, O my soul,
Psalms 103: 1-6
And all that is within me, bless His holy name.
2Bless the LORD, O my soul, And forget none of His benefits;
3Who pardons all your iniquities, Who heals all your diseases;
4Who redeems your life from the pit, Who crowns you with lovingkindness and compassion;
5Who satisfies your years with good things so that your youth is renewed like the eagle.
6The LORD performs righteous deeds And judgments for all who are oppressed.
Miracles Are Signs
When God performs miracles in our lives, He always wants us to remember those miracles so that when we face a similar situation in the future we can use those past miracles to build our faith in God’s faithfulness.
God appeared to Moses in a burning bush. Why did he appear to him that way? Why not in the dream?
God appeared that way to remind Moses that he (The Almighty God) can always appear in an unusual way, also, that was given as a sign to Moses that God had appeared to him in a way that he would not forget.
And He said, “Certainly I will be with you, and this shall be the sign to you that it is I who have sent you: when you have brought the people out of Egypt, you shall worship God at this mountain.”
Exodus 3: 12 NASB
The Burning Bush was a Sign!
All the previous miracles you have received in your life were given to you as signs to convince you that God will never leave you.
1Now when all the nation had finished crossing the Jordan, the LORD spoke to Joshua, saying,
2“Take for yourselves twelve men from the people, one man from each tribe,
3and command them, saying, ‘Take up for yourselves twelve stones from here out of the middle of the Jordan, from the place where the priests’ feet are standing firm, and carry them over with you and lay them down in the lodging place where you will lodge tonight.’”4So Joshua called the twelve men whom he had appointed from the sons of Israel, one man from each tribe;
5and Joshua said to them, “Cross again to the ark of the LORD your God into the middle of the Jordan, and each of you take up a stone on his shoulder, according to the number of the tribes of the sons of Israel.
6“Let this be a sign among you, so that when your children ask later, saying, ‘What do these stones mean to you?’
7then you shall say to them, ‘Because the waters of the Jordan were cut off before the ark of the covenant of the LORD; when it crossed the Jordan, the waters of the Jordan were cut off.’ So these stones shall become a memorial to the sons of Israel forever.”
Joshua 4:1-7
All God’s Miracles Are Reminder to Forget not His Benefits
When Isreal passed through the Jordan river God told them to carry a stone as a remembrance.
God wants you to remember the miracles you have seen in the past. He wants you to forget not his benefits and all the situations where he had rescued you.
If you can focus on those miracles and not be bothered with all you are facing now, your faith in God will get stronger and you will experience the hands of God in no time.
Be blessed.
